Progress at AMLI CityPlace ground — or crashed, as the case may be — to a halt this afternoon following a crane collapse on the site. The quickly-rising residential tower was unaffected, with the under-construction seven-story parking deck taking the brunt of the fall. According to workers on site, no one was injured, and an investigation into the cause is ongoing. This isn't the first construction gaff on a high-rise project in the neighborhood either, after a concrete calamity at Three Alliance Center this summer. For those who like a little destruction with their evening, check out pictures from the site by clicking the photo above.
