Braves Development Gets Name, Restaurants, Exclusivity

The Atlanta Braves have christened their new OTP enclave "The Battery Atlanta." The questionable play on words was revealed Wednesday with a new website and overly epic video, which (over-)hypes the venue as "the South's preeminent lifestyle destination." The development will feature 550 residences, 40 "fashion retailers and boutiques," an array of restaurants — including intown favorites like Antico, Superica and Fox Brothers — a concert venue, Comcast offices, an Omni Hotel and, oh yeah, the new home for the Atlanta Braves, SunTrust Park. There's also talk of a Ford Fry margarita bar, which could help soothe post-gridlock outage.
