ScienceHEAP has compiled a short "How Stuff Works" video that sheds light on the interesting backstory of Ponce City Market's marquee sign — a "one-of-a-kind symbol" for the new Atlanta landmark. The work of Henry Graphics, a leading architectural signage firm, each letter weighs up to 1,500 pounds and emits a powerful nightly glow toward Historic Fourth Ward Park. The engineering team was led by Grant Henry — but unfortunately not the Grant Henry who moonlights as Sister Louisa, because the sign would've been loaded with Jesus humor if so, and that wouldn't be appropriate.
