Atlanta Architect Lists Swanky yet Classic Digs for $2.2M

New, 5 comments

The listing description for this high-style, $2.25-million Tudor in Buckhead is like a symphony of questionable assertions. But that's to be expected with a "masterpiece" that's "the manifestation of the vision of one of the preeminent architects in Atlanta" and "one of the finest (homes) in Buckhead" where "no detail was spared." For homebuyers leaning traditional, the curb appeal is stratospheric, with rich-wood detailing inside that belies the home's 2006 construction (unless it's a vestige of the 1950s house formerly here) and perks that include a three-car garage and saline pool. At least from the street, it would appear larger than its 2,246 square feet (per tax records), which somehow manages to include six bedrooms, a den and wine cellar. The location, just west of Interstate 75, spells a piddly Walk Score of 15, but buyers with this budget can probably afford the extra Uber miles. This is the personal home of architect Tim Adams and, unsurprisingly, reflects much of the T.S. Adams Studio's work around Atlanta, right down to the scant listing photos.
