DECATUR — Filling the void left by Paper Plane, The SOS Tiki Bar will officially open to the public Friday at 6 p.m. The revamped concept from the Victory Brands team offers a menu with plenty of tropical drinks and tiki-inspired cuisine.

MORNINGSIDE — Tom Murphy, the man behind Murphy's in Virginia-Highland and Paces & Vine in Vinings, is the "well-established restaurateur" who is taking over Ron Eyester's Rosebud space. Further details aren't available, but Eyester previously said he expects a new concept to open "sometime between January and March."
