In what sounds like genuine Beltline construction progress, a structure called the Westside Trail bridge over Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is scheduled to be removed and then replaced next month. To discuss detour routes and temporary weekend road closures, Beltline officials have called a special Westside Study Group meeting tomorrow night. This harkens warm and fuzzy feelings about similar activity with one Eastside Trail bridge back in 2012, which seems like a decade ago.
