CITYWIDE — The James Beard Award semifinalists were announced this week, and several Atlanta chefs and restaurants made the cut. Among the contenders are Billy Allin, Kevin Gillespie, Todd Ginsberg, and Steven Satterfield, all up for Best Chef: Southeast.

INMAN PARK — Ford Fry's Superica is now open in Krog Street Market. It's Fry's second foray into the "Mex-Tex" genre, following The El Felix at Avalon. In addition to the eats and drinks, look for live music Thursday through Saturday nights.
