Axiometrics, an apartment market research firm, reports that Atlanta has had the seventh-highest rent growth among the country's major markets in the last year. Across metro Atlanta, average rents have reached $962. One official predicts that rents will continue to increase through 2015, because demand is still exceeding supply, even with nearly 7,000 units to be delivered this year. [AJC; photo: Curbed]
