Airport Expansion

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is slated for more than $1 billion in upgrades over the next decade, according to recently released RFPs. The big-ticket items could include a sixth runway, relocation of the taxi queue (yes, please) and a solar farm, though spokesman Reese McCranie has a death grip on details. The updates are intended to enhance the airport's expected growth, fulfilling objectives for the overall Master Plan. And hopefully they'll reestablish Hartsfield-Jackson's dominance among global competitors. [Saporta Report; image via Reddit.]
