CITYWIDE — Atlanta has a pretty impressive coffee scene, and when the weather turns frigid, a hot cup of joe is tough to beat. Everyone has their favorite, but Eater's mapped 15 essential shops, bars, and counters where Atlantans can get their caffeine fix.

ATLANTIC STATION — Ron Eyester, Top Chef: Boston competitor and the angry chef behind The Family Dog, Rosebud, and Timone's, is finally close to opening his latest venture. Diner, Eyester's take on the American classic, should begin service next week, offering a wide range of classics with a modern twist. The restaurant was originally scheduled to open last July, before being pushed back to September and then delayed inevitably.

BOOK CLUBFord Fry, the local empire builder behind No. 246, JCT. Kitchen & Bar, King + Duke, The Optimist, St. Cecilia, The El Felix, and Superica, is working on his first cookbook. Details are scarce at this point, but Fry has signed with The Lisa Ekus Group for representation.
