A developer is hankering to buy a long-vacant elementary school near the Beltline's Westside Trail, but the City of Atlanta's money dispute with school officials has thrown a wrench into the deal for now, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The historic Adair Park School has been shuttered since 1973, and school leaders sound more than willing to offload it for development, but the city hasn't coughed up the deed, a vital document. No word yet on the price of the school, or what it could potentially become.
