Some Brookhaven residents are up-in-arms over a proposed mixed-use development that includes an eight-story apartment building along Peachtree Road. Neighbors fear the building — sited across from the Brookhaven MARTA station and proposed town center TOD — is not in keeping with the scale of the neighborhood and will block out the sun from their backyards. But city staffers have recommend approval of the building; that pits residents of Historic Brookhaven against their city, which is embracing Buckhead's methodical march up Peachtree.
