One local real estate firm says 2015 is poised to be the best year for Atlanta home sales since 2007, pointing to positive factors such as sustained job growth, increasing home inventory, less restrictive lending standards and the relative affordability of our fair metropolis. Some other interesting stats, per Beachham & Company: New home permits were up 3 percent nationally last year — but a whopping 14 percent in Atlanta. And January home closings in Atlanta climbed by 11 percent over 2014, which is not a shabby start.
