Historic Unit at Ponce, Peachtree has Amazing Rooftop Escape

New, 5 comments

At the corner of two of Atlanta's most storied streets is a classical grande dame with a curving facade and a hell of a lot of history. A unit in the building, Ponce Condominium, one of Atlanta's oldest condo buildings — though it did technically open as apartments — has hit the market. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is only 686 square feet, but it offers fabulous views of the Fox Theatre and access to one of the coolest rooftops in the city. Offered at $139,900, more than $5,000 less than what it sold for in 2008, the unit has a lot of potential, though it could stand for some updating. Nonetheless, for a history buff with a penchant for the theater, this unit could be a great find.
