In an op-ed this week, Mayor Kasim Reed says voting "yes" for the $250 million infrastructure bond on March 17 will help synchronize thousands of congestion-causing traffic lights, "design and repair our streets for all users, not just cars," and generally "help us make Atlanta the most livable city in the United States." Budget repairs over the last few years have positioned the city to pay the bond debt "without raising one penny in taxes," Hizzoner stresses.
