The trend of bringing a slice of downtown to the boonies continues with the urbanization of Sugar Hill in Gwinnett County. The AJC reports that a new city center will feature a gym, a bowling alley, a movie theater and a rooftop restaurant, providing plenty of big-city amenities to the population of 20,000. With demand for denser livable centers coming from every generation, Baby Boomers to Millennials, small cities throughout the metro are following suit. [Image: Sugar Hill.]
