Could 'Walking Dead' Star be Selling this Serenbe Home?

New, 2 comments

If obsessive "Walking Dead" fan sites and various online clues are true, one of the AMC series' main characters could have listed his home for sale south of Atlanta. Followers of the wildly popular and Georgia-filmed series allege that Norman Reedus — who plays Daryl Dixon, a crossbow-wielding zombie annihilator — listed a contemporary home in Serenbe for $585,000 last month. Their bulletproof sources? "Locals in Senoia," where much of the series is filmed. With its swanky pool and rooftop patio, the tri-level, three-bedroom pad would suit an ascendant TV and film star. While property records list the owner as a Marietta businessman, it doesn't necessarily mean the scuttlebutt in Senoia is false. Consider this: Reedus has been spotted at various times in Serenbe, and the wholesome anti-suburb follows the actor on Twitter. Reedus told TV Guide in 2013: "I have become superfond of Georgia and the South to the point where I'm thinking about selling my (Manhattan) apartment and moving to the country." His country leanings would support another rumor surrounding the sale: That Reedus is selling in Serenbe to buy property in a more remote place. That scenario, to the great pleasure of stalking superfans, would mean that Daryl isn't necessarily destined to be zombie food.
