A century-old office building — originally designed by the architect of the Fox Theatre — in the heart of downtown is being reborn as a hotel, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Slated to open this fall, the Home2 Suites, a Hilton brand of extended-stay hotels, will have 128 rooms. The nine-story relic is undergoing an $11 million renovation to convert the old offices into modern guest rooms, though many of the building's historic details will remain. [Image: Google Streetview]
