Beltline Beat

New, 4 comments

If you're hoping the Beltline is finished before millennials start drawing social security, recent developments at the Gold Dome should be encouraging news. On Friday, Georgia House members overwhelmingly approved Senate Bill 4 — legislation that would allow the Beltline to partner with private companies to speed up the 22-mile loop's development. The House also made a few tweaks to the bill that could help avoid legal battles with utilities companies if, and when, the Beltline's light-rail system is implemented.
