A new MARTA expansion plan for the Ga. Highway 400 corridor calls for routing trains over the expressway not once, but twice, to make rapid transit more accessible for suburbanites on either side, the AJC reports. Plans call for the heavy-rail double-Dutch to begin just beyond the North Springs station with a westward hop, and then a jump back to the east somewhere north of the Chattahoochee River. The MARTA Board is expected to approve the route as early as today, though they have no money to fund it. [Photo: Pinterest]
