This week, The New York Times chronicles Atlanta's quest to keep the all-important "world's busiest" crown affixed to the local stress factory airport, after Chicago's O'Hare International leapfrogged us in one metric: takeoffs and landings. After decades of steady traffic growth, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport's annual passenger counts are sputtering, though experts agree (to Chicago's chagrin) it's still the "busiest."
