With a new-condo drought upon us, the Loews Atlanta Hotel is flipping its top 11 floors of apartments into for-sale units, and now they've gone and gussied 'em all up. As proven by this new batch of listing photos, fans of sleek urban sophistication should find the furnishings dazzling, in the way that the prices could cause heart palpitations for Atlanta condo hopefuls. Per the agent, the "exquisitely designed" units are brimming with "much attention to detail" and perks like 12-foot ceilings, hand-scraped Brazilian oak flooring and kitchen brands such as Thermador and SubZero. So far, the offered condos cost at least $990,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with about 1,950 square feet. For an entry-level condo, that's a lot of space, but a lot of zeros, too. On the larger end, the Big Kahuna three-bedroom offerings cost $1.77 million, with the square footage (2,800) of a fairly huge house. As announced in January, the 52 Loews apartments are being converted to condos as leases expire. Listings give no indication of how many are available now, or how many have been decorated, but for glimpses at a couple of other styles, head over here.
