Now that plans are beginning to materialize for Tyler Perry's redevelopment of Fort McPherson, MARTA is starting to get all Madea-level excited about the prospect of another transit-oriented development, which was first discussed last year. WABE reports that MARTA is in serious discussions with developers now, with a goal of studying the viability of developing MARTA land around Oakland City station at the north end of the former army base.
