This Artful Dutch Colonial is Pining for $2.4 Million

New, 2 comments

Now here's a style you don't see every day in Atlanta. High atop a hill on prestigious West Andrews Drive, in a land rich with tennis courts, we find this gargantuan Dutch Colonial that dates to 1940 but doesn't look a day over two (a few old chandeliers and ceiling fans notwithstanding). It earns style points for the amazing millwork, cabinetry, stained glass (see: above the landing) and those towering Italian cypresses around the pool — enough that we can forgive the awkward bedroom-to-bathroom ratio (5 to 8). This place has multiple family rooms and master suites, and a three-car carriage house that echoes the Dutch style. Some trifling serfs might call 7,300 square feet excessive, but as long as you're not cleaning it — and with cooling/heating costs probably being an afterthought — the more the merrier, right? All yours for a cool $2.39 million.
