4th Townhome Project Slinks onto Short Stretch of Peachtree

Three homes along Peachtree Road in Buckhead, just west of the Brookhaven border, may soon fall victim to the townhouse-palooza that's sweeping the corridor. The current owner of the three properties has applied for a variance to erect a wall around the property, presumably the first step in redeveloping the lot into 17 townhomes. According to property records, the homes date from between 1935 and 1951, and they occupy 1.29 acres across the three parcels. With three other projects — amounting to 56 townhomes — in full swing in the surrounding blocks, the corridor between Lenox Square and Brookhaven is townhome central.
