Post Properties appears to be moving forward with a 407-unit apartment community next door to Centennial Olympic Park that's been in the works for years, in one form or another. The company has filed for building permits for Post Centennial Park, which could bring Atlanta's tourist epicenter a much-needed infusion of several hundred actual residents. But don't go poppin' bubbly just yet, ye supporters of downtown livability: Post CEO David Stockert told Bisnow Atlanta that no start date or groundbreaking has been scheduled for the project.
