Spacious Loews Condos Hit Market for Whopping $1.7M

New, 3 comments

In a sign that Atlanta's condo market is slowly reviving, the former apartments atop the Loews Atlanta Hotel are trickling onto the market as plush, for-sale residences that, so far, cost at least $990,000. But let's set our sights higher, to the relatively humongous three-bedroom offerings (two are available now) that sprawl for more than 2,800 square feet. For $1.77 million, these big daddies include a den that could serve as a fourth bedroom, plus 12-foot ceilings, hand-scraped Brazilian oak flooring and kitchen brands like Thermador and SubZero. The photos are identical for each unit, so these might show the same decorated model, but they give an idea of the aesthetic. The views might not be "unrivaled" as the sellers claim, but they'd probably enable buyers to check traffic while taking a bath — or a flasher to live out his big-city dream. Additional perks include the heated pool and primo Walk Score of 87. As with The Atlantic condos across the highway, these offer the chance to own the highlife where renters once balled out.
