In a fascinating and somewhat hilarious historical piece, WABE proves this week that contempt between Cobb County and Atlanta has been festering long before the Braves announced their pending exodus. Between the 1960s and 1995, a 30-mile long incorporated city called "Chattahoochee Plantation" ran the entire eastern border of Cobb, roughly from Roswell to Six Flags, acting like a "No Trespassing" sign aimed at the growing (and diversifying) city of Atlanta. Here's the kicker: The city was only 10-feet wide. [Info, image: WABE]
