With streets realigned and discernible park-y features taking shape, the AMLI development at East Paces Ferry and Roxboro roads, across from the Lenox MARTA station, is moving toward vertical development. A lot of progress has been made since we checked out the site at the beginning of the year. Mounds of dirt have given way to stone curbs lining the new streets and sidewalks are being replaced along Roxboro Road. Part of Wright Avenue has been realigned, destined to be rejoined with its former other half, Lakeside Drive — which will now actually be beside a lake. Details are sparse about a projected opening, but word in the neighborhood is that the streets could be done in the summer, providing access to the new park and connectivity from the neighborhood north of the site to Lenox MARTA station.
