Investment group Carey Watermark has purchased the Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites overlooking The Connector in Midtown, adding fuel to the fire that experts say is Atlanta's lodging industry these days. The hotel equivalent of CatDog opened in 2013 with a total of 228 rooms at the corner of 10th and Williams streets.
