Atlanta's most expensive single-bedroom bachelor/bachelorette pad — by a fairly wide margin — is bigger than many houses around the city. And so is the price: $729,000. High atop the four-star W Atlanta-Downtown, this so-called "trophy" condo has protected, 180-degree city views, one of Atlanta's sleekest, most voyeur-friendly master bathrooms and a 60-foot-long living and dining space that contributes mightily to the 1,823 square feet, a figure that doesn't include the outdoor living room. Atlanta's next most expensive one-bedroom condos — a $635,000 unit at The Wakefield and another at The Ritz-Carlton Residences ($625,000) — are about 500 square feet smaller. The hefty asking price bags top-flight features like custom closets, Carrera marble, Gaggenau appliances and Dornbracht fixtures. Other fancy-pants perks include the heliport, sexy sky pool, concierge and available pampering delights like dog-walking, in-home spa and chef services. The penance for living so lavishly: $839 HOA fees.
