The bar for luxury apartment living in Atlanta may have just been raised. En route, it smashed the ceiling for rental rates. All 329 units of the Cyan on Peachtree tower are ready for the taking, allowing high-earning renters to live across the street from Lenox Square and on the ashes of Dante's Down the Hatch. For some units — there's a multitude of $5,000 penthouses in these 23 stories — rents will demand more than $3 per square foot, which was unthinkable in Atlanta just a few years ago. Developers have called this Buckhead's "most exquisite apartment high-rise" and one of the choicest towers in the Southeast, and these new photos do little to ding that assertion. There's a really clean, fresh aesthetic going on here, with rather amazing public areas and quartz countertops, top-shelf fixtures and Bluetooth-distributed audio in the units. (But merely "wood-style flooring," really?) Elsewhere, amenities read like a pampered millennial's metrosexual fantasy: concierge, Cyber café, yoga studio, in-pool loungers and the indispensible "Barks and Bubbles Pet Spaw." Getting a foot in the door (that is: a 580-square-foot, one-bedroom unit) will cost $1,525 monthly. For ballers, three-bedroom penthouses start at $5,067.
