COMING ATTRACTIONS — A New York City street food favorite is making its way down South. As part of its massive nationwide expansion, The Halal Guys, known for gyro wraps and platters, will open five restaurants in Atlanta. Get ready to stand in line.

PLYWOOD REPORT — A couple of long-anticipated restaurants are nearing their opening dates. Sichuan eatery Jia, from the Tasty China team, could become the first Ponce City Market restaurant to open in mid-July, and Memphis-based Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is targeting a launch Downtown sometime this summer.
