The City of Sandy Springs is powering forward with plans to transform the triangular wedge of land between Roswell Road, Mt. Vernon Highway and Johnson Ferry Road into a swanky city center. Anchored by a large park and performing arts venue, the new development has been contentious at times. But with the latest round of plans by locally grown architecture firm Rosser International, it's hard to argue that the project could be anything less than transformative for the city. In addition to the large performing arts center, government offices and a green space complete with fountains, these new visuals show plenty of street-front retail and residential components along Sandy Springs Circle.
