Air Realty plans to break ground July 9 on Pad on Harvard, a new mixed-use center in College Park that should expand intown's rental options southward. And while no one not from the 1970s should use the word "pad" to refer to a residence, the announcement is exciting as it marks the first major development to come out of the Aerotropolis Alliance, which has been working to develop a liveable center around the airport. Phased plans call for apartments and 75,000 square feet of commercial space to eventually rise on 3.5 acres near the College Park MARTA station. [Image: Pad on Harvard]
