Major changes are slated to happen at Underground Atlanta in the next few years, as WRS Inc. brings mixed-use life to the historic center of the city. While most Atlantans are familiar with the mall and possibly the early history of the area, the Saporta Report dug up some dirt from the area's time as Atlanta's true party hotspot, a raucous place modeled after New Orleans' French Quarter.
