Peachtree Baptist Church — with a prime location at corner of Briarcliff and LaVista roads — has some extra land laying around and wants to cash in by putting a five-story, 20-unit condo building next to its cemetery. There's discussion of throwing in some office space while they're at it. The place of worship has filed a Special Land Use Permit to increase the allowable building height from two to five stories and an application to rezone the of property. If approved, the 0.8 acres would be combined with a 1.9-acre site next door that was previously approved for 50 units. [ToNeTo]
