We've been yapping all year about the remarkable amount of construction going on around Atlanta at the moment, and a new report by Dodge Data & Analytics provides the statistical proof. Residential construction spending in metro Atlanta has jumped by a whopping 32 percent over where it was in May of last year. While sheer construction spending ($425 million) still lags Texas boomtowns and competitors like Washington DC, the percentage of overall growth in Atlanta is good for second highest in the nation.
