Atlanta Beltline Inc. released a batch of photos this week that proves Westside Trail construction is boring ahead on a large scale. Recalling the look of the Eastside Trail circa 2011, the images should tickle the fancy of anyone who likes excavation, backfilling and abutment-construction action shots. And they serve as a reminder that building the Beltline involves crazy drainage preparations and infrastructure for future transit, so it isn't exactly like pouring a sidewalk on 'roids. The three-mile Westside Trail, once finished, will connect Adair Park to Washington Park with 14 public access points, which are part of the ongoing construction.
