Lovely Skyline Views, Future Beltline Access for Under $200K

New, 17 comments

There are two ways of looking at this 1,120-square-foot bungalow, depending on whether you're a glass-half-empty or glass-half-full kind of person. Either it's a small-ish house not far from Fulton County Jail, some industrial areas and a gaping hole in the ground (Bellwood Quarry). Or it's an affordable starter home within an easy walk to King Plow Arts Center, the future Beltline trail and what will one day be Atlanta's largest park (Westside Reservoir Park). Let's go the optimistic route. This two-bedroom, two-bath abode also boasts hardwood floors, skyline views (although it does seem like the listing photos might have been creatively cropped/zoomed for maximum impact), and a nice little front porch where the buyer can enjoy a beverage and the aforementioned views. Restaurants such as The Optimist, JCT Kitchen and West Egg are all within a five-minute drive. The home, which has been on the market since March, has seen one price drop so far and is currently asking $199,900.
