New $12M Cobb Subdivision Puts Fans Close to The Braves

New, 67 comments

If you love baseball and traffic and want to live next to what SunTrust Park's PR machine has called "the most technologically advanced entertainment venue in the world," you're in luck! The county has just approved the construction of a 28-home subdivision near the new stadium and its associated mixed-use development of retail, offices, restaurants, offices and entertainment. The subdivision will be built by Atlanta-based developer Pulte Home Corp. and could cost up to $12 million, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The vote to rezone the area, located on four acres on Cumberland Parkway near the Perimeter, will happen July 21. No word on whether Comcast's promise to provide high-speed internet to the area around SunTrust Park will extend to the homes.
