The developer who cut down five 150-year-old trees in Ormewood Park without a permit has received a $11,400 slap on the wrist — the maximum fine allowed by law, according to a report by 11Alive. An outraged Tim Keane, the city's Commissioner of Planning and Community Development, called the actions by Atlanta Intown Renewal Developers an "especially egregious violation."
