A rendering has emerged that sheds light on what a fun and functional Castleberry Hill pocket park will look like. Designed by local architects Gensler, the "Castleberry Spur" will occupy a vacant lot that's wedged between lofts and artists' studios, creating what one neighborhood official called "an inviting place for the community to gather" with plantings, lighting and new seating, the AJC reports. Funded by spirits-makers New Amsterdam, the project broke ground early this month and should soon be hosting pop-up markets, live performances and community art installations.
