A team of former Jamestown Properties executives is touting their Armour Yards mixed-use development near SweetWater Brewery as "the first West-Coast-style loft office campus in Atlanta." Third & Urban, a real estate development and investment firm, announced today their purchase of four warehouse buildings — with plans to close on three more by year's end — in an industrial area adjacent to Interstate 85, Atlanta's leading craft brewery and a future leg of the Beltline. All told, the $70 million redevelopment will encompass 275,000 square feet of "airy, approachable (and) urban" space, to include a coffee shop, restaurants and "a variety of entertainment options," officials said. The Armour Yards project expects to break ground this month, with rolling deliveries scheduled between the winter and summer of 2016. The familiar faces at Smith Dalia Architects and Kronberg Wall firms are behind the architectural designs, which can be seen after the jump.
