Meet the Last Unsold Unit at Swanky Oakhurst Project

Around the corner from the Oakhurst Village, a single townhome remains unsold in a contemporary cluster of 15 called Seven Twelve Oakview, according to the website of builder Thrive Homes. With an affinity for cable railings and expansive rooftop terraces, the development is sleeker and more modern than most other townhome projects in the Decatur area, echoing Poncey-Highland's SkyHill project by Cablik Enterprises. Priced at $521,500, this sole remaining unit is hardly the ugly four-bedroom duckling of the bunch, offering reasonable square footage (2,090) for that price-point in the area. Buyers might quibble with the lack of range hood in the kitchen and a cable-railing overload. But the designer showers, European custom cabinetry, two-car garage and media room that bleeds into the elevated deck could cure a few ills. It does not, however, have a rooftop garage door like some of the neighbors.
