More luxury high-rises could be bound for the Buckhead Triangle area if a group of German investors is able to offload three acres fronting West Paces Ferry Road. BuckheadView reports the tract of land is being offered for sale by Eight Hundred Corp. and could fetch more than $25 million. Currently occupied by a low-rise strip center, the land sits just two blocks west of Peachtree Road, Loudermilk Park and OliverMcmillan's Buckhead Atlanta. Recently, the area has seen a spate of projects, with plenty more slated for development in coming years.
The site, located at 99 West Paces Ferry Road, is situated on one of the city's grandest residential streets. Not far from the Governor's Mansion, and across the street from the upscale St. Regis Atlanta, the property is primed for a high-end condo or hotel building, given the density of the immediate surroundings. Walking distance to the fanciest shopping in the city, and next door to Whole Foods, the site is pretty much purpose-built for the well-heeled. So all it'll take are some deep, deep pockets to turn the parking lot and commercial spaces into Buckhead's next premiere address.
