Up the hill from Ponce City Market, this double-dose of contemporary townhomes with butterfly roofs is being touted as "truly a work of art that captures our imagination and attention." Not coincidentally, the project also hopes to capture princely sums. The site is a wooded lot that snuggles up to Freedom Park and is large enough for these two three-bedroom, semi-detached dwellings with walls of windows. So-called Unit 2 is $899,000 (with four full bathrooms) and its sibling is $25,000 cheaper. Each will offer 2,700 square feet, a raw basement bonus space and multiple outdoor areas that include sunken rooftop decks. The builder, Cablik Modern, is no stranger to townhomes or the neighborhood, having completed the Sky Hill project down the street and Skyline at Edgewood in Inman Park. Clean, custom, inspired designs like these are hot intown commodities, but one must wonder if the price points are stretches when the largest units at nearby Sky Hill closed around $700,000. Granted, those properties were a bit smaller, and these appear to have bona fide yards.
