At a ceremony last night, the City of Sandy Springs formally christened their under-construction city center as "City Springs" and unveiled an artsy — and literally splashy — logo for the district. According to Reporter Newspapers, the $220 million project is expected to be completed in late 2017, bringing retail, apartments, government offices and a performing arts center to the rapidly changing Roswell Road corridor. While the name seems a bit silly, on the bright side, at least they didn't go the confusing route of OliverMcMillian's Buckhead Atlanta, located in Buckhead, Atlanta.
