Just when co-working spaces in Atlanta were beginning to feel like the new trucker hats, a national player has debuted a second location in the city that almost makes working look sexy. Industrious, which recently opened shared office space on Peachtree Street in Midtown, has now staked out 28,000 square feet of Ponce City Market, which they feel gives them a competitive advantage — and makes the mixed-use behemoth relatively affordable for startups and small business entrepreneurs. The eighth-floor space includes 85 private offices and what the company calls "the next evolution of the modern workplace: bright glass-walled private offices within a large, beautiful loft space, giving you the privacy you need to be productive, but the community you want to stay invigorated." One thing's for sure: The build-out embraced the old Sears Roebuck & Co. bones and wrapped them in a modernized, somewhat quirky, neighborhood-coffee-shop ambiance.
