South Buckhead Mixed-Use to Replace Buildings, Parking Deck

New, 9 comments

The developer behind 755 North in Poncey-Highland and the Westside's under-construction The Brady has set sites on a quickly changing stretch of South Buckhead. Perennial Properties has filed for permits to demolish two commercial buildings in the 1700 block of Peachtree Street NW, near the point where SoBu and Midtown meet, Bisnow reports. Plans call for a multifamily mixed-use development to replace the existing structures and a parking deck, but details beyond that have yet to emerge. Across the street, an iconic midcentury office building known as 1776 Peachtree is expected to undergo a major renovation after it recently changed hands.
